Meet Amy Rae, LMFT, LPC — a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
Trained at Houston Christian University, Amy brings something rare: a clinical background built entirely around relationships and family systems, and training as a Christian counselor.
That means biblical principle and research-backed therapy aren't in tension here — they work together. She uses the Gottman Method and other evidence-based approaches to help couples repair, reconnect, and lead their families well. And she doesn't just bring her training to the table — she brings 21 years of real marriage, with all the growth, repair, and intentional effort that entails.
As a specialist in family therapy and the parent-child relationship, Amy sees the whole picture. She understands that conflict in a marriage doesn't stay between two people — it moves through the whole family system. That's why she's especially equipped to help couples navigate co-parenting conflict, rebuild a united front, and heal the relationships that matter most.
